The CP Athletic Boosters are happy to announce that we WILL be awarding Senior Athlete College Scholarships this year! This is our opportunity to reward our seniors for their hard work in sports and in the classroom. If you are interested, don’t delay! The deadline to submit your application is Tuesday May 10, 2011. Applications must include a copy of your grades, an essay, and recommendations from your coaches. Complete details and application packets are available at the link below. Senior Scholarships Application Criteria

Each year the Athletic Boosters award five $750 scholarships to senior athletes at College Park High School. Scholarship winners are selected by the Boosters Club scholarship committee and must meet the following criteria:

2.5 or better GPA in Junior and Senior Years – mandatory
Family Membership in Athletic Boosters or Contributor to Booster Club activities
Minimum one year/season in Athletic Program or supporting role, including Statistician/Team Mgr, etc.
No outstanding school debts
Submission of application with supporting 1 page essay
Recommendation from Athletic Director or Coach
Interview with Booster Club Scholarship Committee (if required)

The deadline for applications is early April.
